How far out of date are they?

definitely eat them (if you like them that is) they won't have become dangerous or poisonous, the worst that will happen is they might not be as crisp as usual, & that takes quite a while past the 'best by' date to happen

Better give them Shredded Tweet!0 -
I've had a similar glut of Frosties recently - I ate half and the rest have been thrown into flapjacks - and a handful into Twinks Hobnobs! Tasted good x0

I didn't even know there was a sell by date on cereal, they will be fine for ages yet.

It won't be a sell by date, it will be a best before date - this only really indicates that the manufacturer considers they won't be quite as good after this date - usually a bit softer/stale for cereals, and maybe a sllight deterioration in the added vitamins. Highly unlikely to cause any health problems.
If they have gone stale/soft you can always spread them on a baking sheet and refresh them in a warm oven. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Better give them Shredded Tweet!
:rotfl: ! I would make cornflake cakes, then sell them at a cake sale or something....or even better, just eat them!
