Venere anyone used them ?

Hiya
The above website seems to be giving me the cheapest price on Travelsupermarket.com and i was wondering if anyone has used them before ?, Also does anyone have any discount codes for them or know anyother chain of travel chains that would price match them, It's a hotel which i like to stop at in Blackpool that i have been looking at for 1 night stay 4 adults.
Any help would be great.

I think that was through them I booked my Venice hotel, a few years ago.
No issues, just like any other hotel bookings site :)

Thanks ScarletBea, anyone elses used them, just want to make sure there ok before parting with my money ?
  • I've used them once or twice in the past with no problems. I think they're just not as well known as the likes of Expedia. Just use your credit card to be on the safe side (good idea on any site).

Thanks, unfortunatley i don't own a credit card, but it says that no money will be taken from my debit card until after the stay, i think they just take your debit card details as security incase u cancel, What would happen if they did goes bust ?
  • I've often used Venere with no problems. I find it's a great advantage to book with a firm where you do not have to pay in advance and you may also have the option of cancelling until almost the last minute.

We used Venere for our hotel in Barcelona as they had the best rate.
No problems and didn't have to pay until checkout.
  • I've used them many times without any problem, and always paid the hotel direct when I've stayed.

I've always wondered why the site is banned by a spam filter on this website - can anyone enlighten me?

Venere and Travelsupermarket are unlikely to go bust as they are third party booking agents, so whilst the hotels themselves may struggle, third party agents are pretty free to change the hotels they represent.

The travel industry as a whole is under the cosh at the moment and it is getting worse, but both companies are well established and respected within the industry so they stand a better chance than many.

Also, one of my first posts on this forum mentioned Venere and I was informed that the site was banned because they had tried to spam the site at some point. Perhaps Travelsupermarket has done the same? I honestly don't know.
