concrete "imprinted" driveway

We have moved into a house with one of those "imprinted" driveways i.e it is made to look like separate bricks but has been poured in one lot. I do not know what it is called. Anyway it is treacherously slippery even in dry weather. Does anyone know a permanent treatment for this, hopefully not too expensive. Someone is going to get really hurt or sue us if we do not do something!

I can only think of some form of driveway paint. That may not be so slippery.0

Maybe get some driveway sealer and mix some sand in with it
