Hello All!
Anyone with private health insurance will know it's worth every penny, or so I thought.
I have had private health insurance cover for the past four years. I have always dealt directly with Norwich Union as I always believed the more middle men you cut out the greater the savings you can make.
So when I recieved a dreaded telesales call from a company telling me that they could save me money on my cover, I was far from inviting until the guy said he would give me £100 if he couldn't beat my current quote. So not being one to miss out on a freebie I gave the guy a few details & sat back waiting for my cheque to arrive.
NOT SO!
The guy called me back a day later quoting me just under £700 cheaper for the same cover and even managed to reduce my excess by £100. Better still my policy would remain with Norwich Union!
So instead of getting my £100 freebie I managed to save £700 off my current cover - all for the sake of a 15min telephone conversation.
Anyway leason learn't is shop around insurers then instruct a broker to do the same, can save you a fortune & takes !!!!!! all effort.
The company I dealt with was;
perfecthealth321@ymail.com
I think they are still offering £100 if they can't beat your current quote.
Anyway just thought this may be of some interest to some on here!
