I recently listed a couple of Xbox 360 hard drives on ebay; everything was fine; was charged 40p for the BIN; sold one within 1.5hrs which was fantastic... Couple of days later I go to look at my account activity and notice they've charged me £5+ Final Value Fee for selling the hard drive ... and yet a Nokia N95 which was £2 cheaper was only £2+ Final Value Fee... Outrageous!
I promptly emailed them to find out what was going on; to which I was replied with a 'template' email stating all the 'maths' behind the charges and that the Xbox 360 and Accessories are in the Video Games category; which ...

... IS NOT classed as TECHNOLOGY!!
Yet ... Consumer Electronics and Computing are! Are Video Games consoles not technological in design? Are they made from wood and marble? They're as close to Consumer Electronics are you can get!
The thing that makes me laugh even more; is these things use 2.5" laptop hard drives ... with a different box!!!
Am I the only person who find this ... rediculous?

(Would it be possible to run a small poll with this thread; for people's opinions on what people class as Technology?)
