Advice on parking ticket please

Hi there,

I was issued a ticket 1 min past the period where you can park on my highstreet while I was at the car ready to move it. They didn't even get chance to stick it to my window!

Is there any grounds for appeal here or is it a victory for the stealth tax man?

I have uploaded the image here,

Any help or at least clarification of my position would be eternally welcome.

Thanks

The back is just as important as the front. Can you post a pic of that too, please?

Have you seen all of the ticket and the signs? Are they all spot-on correct?

I was going to make a smart arsed comment, but I wont... ;)
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands
