i just saw a payment in my account which stated Debit Card Adjustment beside it, what is this?

In the absence of detail .... a Debit Card payment you've made has been incorrectly debited and this (+ or -) is a correction?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0

What type of debit card did you use? It could be a bounced transaction as the merchant took too long to take the money or did not process the transaction correctly causing your account to go overdrawn when you have no overdraft limit.0

How much was the adjustment? Does the amount appear to relate to anything else you've bought or credited? Is it a credit or debit amount?0

Is you visa debit card and electron card, or a card on a basic bank account that requires authorisation for all transaction such as on Barclays cash account or LTSB basic bank account, I think there are others too.0

It does seem a bit strange. Can you not just ring the Telephone Bank and ask them?0
