You have to watch out for Sky and their so called special offers! I had HD installed before Xmas and two multi-rooms (got HD for £75 and free installation as I got an extra subscription at the time). When I called them to book it they tried to make out that the scheme had run out even though it was still before the end date! I pushed it and said they were still advertising this scheme (had to search hard on the internet to find it though) and I wanted it at that price together with a £15 online discount they were offering, even though I had to phone up as the online ordering system wasn't working! I did get everything and had to wait 2 months for installation as they were so busy. When it was finally installed I got a special offer for movies for £5 a month for 3 months come through the door. I phoned to take them up on it and they offered me it for £3 a month instead. Bargain - what a result I thought, movies until 13th March at £3 a month. But no, because of the way my account had been set up with various debits/credits for HD my cheap movies were cancelled out last month and I was paying full price without knowing . I only spotted this when I queried it, for the 3rd time with Sky - who on the previous two times assured me I had cheap movies until mid March. A very nice Scottish lady tried to offer me 6 months worth of movies for £8 a month instead but I wasn't interested. BTW I have been with Sky for about 9 years.
  • My mother sky subscriber and is turning into a OAP and tried to get a discount and they only gave me a £2 discount on my subscription i am really not impressed
  • Do you think Sky keep a note of previous offers made hence next time they offer you even less or has anyone expirenced " you called on......we offered.............
