July Honeymoon

People I need some advice!!

I have spent the last 6 months trying to book a honeymoon for this July. I have now ruled out the Caribbean and Indian Ocean cause I just don't want to run the risk of tropical rain storms etc

I narrows it down to Sharm El Sheikh or Marrakech but i really need some suggestions.

My budget is around £2000 for around 10/11 nights.

I had my heart set on Sharm El sheikh and the Hyatt Regency hotel there but had a friend who went there last September and she hated it - said the whole place was just a building site and Naama bay was just tacky and 'English'.
I'm not totally put off as this is the only negative i have heard about Sharm but of course it does leave an element of doubt in my mind.

It certainly seems I can do 5* in either of these locations well within my budget but i guess i'm just looking for some reassurance or some other suggestions.

Thank you in advance

What about South Indian Ocean? As July is peak season and if you want the X factor then this place has it Bora Bora. I dont think you will get a great deal (price wise) but you will not forget it. Infact all of French Polynesia though it's not cheap so dont get room only get all-inclusive. You can try where i am going for xmas this year rarotonga yes it maybe winter in july though the weather will be good though a jumper at night:

Just had a look for prices and looks like you cannot get there and back with accommodation for less than 2000 pounds per person which is over budget.

What dates in July? Do you need your food to be included in this price. We went to Mauritius that time of year. Kenya would be worth looking into also. Egypt can be very hot in July.

Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.
  • Re Elounda Beach Hotel , Elounda, Crete - went there a few years ago - LOVELY!!

Another suggestion for July would be Hotel Del Duque, Costa Adece, Tenerife - very exclusive. No idea of cost but worth a look.
