Ideas in Essex/London

Hi
Can anyone help me with some half term ideas? I want to take my four year old nephew and 1 year old niece out for the day tomorrow and can't think of where to go.
We've already done the local farms and other ideas I've had, such as Tower of London, Science Museum, etc, are a bit to old for them.
They live in Essex/Greater London and I would be prepared to travel bit. I appreciate your help.

i would say a day at the seaside is quite nice at this time of year - so maybe head to southend - the weather tomorrow is dry with a bit of sun, so a nice walk on the prom, maybe make a few sandcastles, go beachcombing, etc. Head into the arcades (1yr olds love all the bright lights/noise), and then up the hill into the town, for a nice warming hot chocolate and a bit of shopping

The Golden Hinde always seems to have agaggle of delighted children running around. It's located on the South Bank of the Thames, a short walk from London Bridge station and seems to have pirate themed things going on. I know they have a website and I think they take part in the 2 for 1 deals you can get with travelcards and rail tickets etc. Worth googling...Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0

Hi
Thanks for your suggestions. We've decided to go to Grays Beach Riverside Park if the weather looks okay.
It has a sand pit, crazy golf, beach (only good in summer), pedal karts, toddler area, bouncy castle, etc.
Have a good half term.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0
