Yep, I used to buy some from the butchers too, about 25 years ago!

It was called Dinaclass and used to come in a paper wrapping and then I think they changed it to plastic tubs.

I think it is the brand that chip shops use.

My latest order arrived very quickly- 2 days I think, with the alternate courier and I'm really happy with the fancy cereal from Dorset. ALso got lots of sweet popcorn and pasta, so it was a couple of huge boxes to make the weight up.I am impressed with the new packaging which is very good- and the right size for the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas child:beer:

Quite a bit of new stuff listed over the last week but sadly far, far too much of it is sweets, toiletries or cleaning materials for it to be of interest to me. :(

It would be nice to see a better balance of items and a more interesting mix than it is at the moment.

Well it's not like Dan can control whats offered to him. I know what you mean though. Some of the best boxes of stuff have been things I've not seen before, don't know about and just bought them to see what they were! Lots of smaller things are always welcome. Cleaning stuff generally is not something I'd buy from AP, partially because with special offers in supermarkets it's not as good a deal as their food (same with some other items) but also it's easier to get away with piling up boxes of food rather than boxes of boring stuff like cleaning products!

True, but he doesn't have to take it all :)

ordered sunday night received it today! not only that but i got an immediate confirmation of them receiving my order (last time it took 3 days) and i've had a few tracking emails that actually WORKED including one after i'd recieved my order to say it had been delivered :p

all of that and everything was in stock so no subs, i'm loving this!

KUDOS to dan and all the staff at AF this is how it's meant to be and i must say i love the mini boxes, useful for crafts, christmas pressies and def keeps things from getting crushed!

I got one order to work today and I have another waiting for me at home :)
The dispatch and follow up emails this time have been exceptionally useful compared to the last few when I had no idea when they were coming.
The packing up is certainly getting very good isn't it!

Mmm looking at what I ordered my second box might not be as exciting, but really every time you open a box it's like Christmas isn't it :)

It seems to really vary.As I have jsut had two orders, I am selfishly quite glad that there is nothing much of interest to me. I am ordering a lot when I do see something I like, and storing it in the garage. It is stacking up, but is saving a lot in the long run... so I am still using peanut butter from the start of this thread. I was getting annoyed that stuff i had ordered before wasn't re-appearing until I'd had to buy it- at ful price- in the shops. The shok was awful- so now I buy more than I think I'll use and it is working out well.
oH wants to clear the garage so we can get the car into it...
