Talking of rice - I know it's hard to get right, hence boil-in-a-bag.
I bought a rice cooker a while back and it is so easy to use and the rice is perfect. Aldi have rice cookers for £9.99. If you use rice a lot they're great - especially for partys cos you can keep it warm for 2 hours.0
