Hi,
just popped into my local Asda and got a great deal. brought Uncle Bens Boil in a Bag Long Gran Rice, 8 x 62.5g. Got to checkout and was told its was BOGOF, so got another. Checked my receipt and they cost £1.78 but you say £1.88 if you buy two! So really its a little under half price. Sorry if you think this is sad, but rice won't go off and so its a good deal.
I went back and got another 4 packets. So all together got 6 boxes for £5.04 instead of £10.68, saving me £5.64!!!
Not sure if its at all Asda's, but its at Asda Waterlooville. But note that the notice saying its BOGOF is hidden so check, so two things, firstly not many will know about it and secondly double check at checkout.

I tell you what why waste your time posting on a thread that does not intrest you. It saves you time, and also save my time in reading your dribble.
If you have nothing to add, don't post. Simple really.0 -
There are some really horrible people on here, if you have nothing good to say don't waste our time. I am talking about reeler by the way! Some people actually eat allot of rice me included.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. reeler, you may not find healingtouch's post helpful but seeing as this site is essentially about money saving I do not see how you can accuse him/her of 'wasting everyone's time'. If anyone is wasting members time I think it is you for posting such an unfriendly reply. Please remember - "please be nice to all MoneySavers"reeler wrote:wow half price rice... i can hardly contain myself. please dont waste everyone's time
PS Thank you healingtouch! And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you0 -
Thanx for the Input Healingtouch as regards to the rice.
But i think this is more appropriate for the 'shop but don't drop' thread.

How rude some people are! Thanks Healingtouch. Surely any savings are GOOD savings! I thought that's what this forum was all about! Keep up the good work. You will have my thanks all the time.0

If you read the other posts by reeler you'll find they are mostly negative, so don't take it personally
I'm in asda monday so will pick up some rice while i'm there. Wouldn't have known about it had it not been for this post so thanks
Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass

I am only giving the nudge (help) that this isn't the appropriate thread......
as you may be aware Morrisons feature 151 per month BOGOF deals, then you have the competitors.....asda, tesco, somerfields, endless list......
The List would be endless.0
