National Express Std Advance tix for April - buy now, or might more be released?

Looking for some tickets for travel in April. Prices are a bit more for advance tickets than I was expecting - might more, cheaper tickets be released, or should I just bite the bullet and buy now...?

When are you travelling and what prices are you seeing

Travelling in the second week of April. Prices are around £25-30 singles, whereas they can be about £12...

I have looked at different times of day etc. - those are the best prices on the national express website at the moment. Also looked to split the journey - no benefit.

The National Express East Coast website shows the total cost . If you have 2 adults in the search the tickets would be £12.50 each ? It has caught me out before .

Thanks - booked now. Sadly at the more expensive price - annoying, but not the end of the world

Why couldn't you tell us where you were going and when?

If it's National Express trains - then no, there won't be any cheaper tickets released. Very unlikely.

If it's coaches then you are probably early for the fun fares which don't come out that far ahead.

the coach fun fairs are out for some of april, as i booked some for 11th april for birmingham-london (out was £5 each, return was £1 each, plus 50p booking fee)
