The bananas are a great buy. Keep 'em in the fridge, and as Prudent suggests, buy 'em green.

We have banans in lunch boxes, for breakfast with weetabix, with custard, with syrup, with pancakes, baked in batter.....Though not all at once you understand.

I feel done ...my local Morrisons charges 10p for their reductions. Still I do manage to do a fair bit a my shopping like this. Today a net of lemons 10p, big carton of mushrooms 20p, large pack tomatos 10p. Last week was brilliant lots of organic stuff like strawberries, peaches, milk. I have about 20 packets of cheese (some of thrie nice ones too) in the freezer that have been reduced from up to £3 to 10 or 20p.

Morrisons are great, the best supermarket for BOGOF's. I have been going there for years and my tip is plan your meals around the BOGOF's then you can more or less get 2 weeks shopping for the price of one. Helps if you have a freezer as some offers are on frozen foods. Their offers are always good and onthings that you use / eat, unlike some supermarkets. I find the Bettabuy range generally quite good, use it a fair bit - I'd draw the line at their coffee or tea - but failing that their own brand is excellent.

The BOGOF are good if they are non perishables, but not good if they offer BOGOF on meat products that are not healthy.
