Deluxe Photo and Makeover Day

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone had been on one of these days with a company called new ID? I just booked a day for my friends birthday, but have since read awful reviews about it. I know ppl tend to only write negative reviews and not positive ones, so would like a more balanced view if anyone can offer one! Am going to the Manchester branch, and am now concerned about it - completely ruining the point of going in the first place!

I have to say that most of these are indeed complete cons, the room has no mirrors so you cannot see what is happening and the photos cost a fortune, you didn't get stopped on the street did you?

Enjoy it for what it is, being pampered and made up. I'm sure there will be at least one photo included in the price. (Scanners are great for this) Just dont feel pressured into buying further ones, as alan says they cost a fortune. But like i say go with an open mind and a padlock on your purse and enjoy.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Go and enjoy it. Allow lots of time as it takes forever. They will do their best to try to make you part with more money and keep the £25 deposit you have paid but as long as you are aware of this and are firm it will be fine. The best value photos are around £25 each so they will give you 2 (your inclusive package one) and 1 other to retain your deposit after much haggling. The photos are usually good. Don't part with extra money unless you really want to is my advice!
