i have just started doing a web site and have now come to a standstill whilst using site manager i have a page for links and im cutting and pastsing HMTL links but when i open another page with my site on it still in HMTL format and not the icons

Need a bit more info on this. What software are you using? It sounds like you might be pasting the HTML in 'design' view rather than 'code' view.

im using zoomshare i clicked on the hmtl button and it reads ok but no icons

Have you saved any copied images to your PC and made sure the code/tag is pointing to that image on your site and not your PC or someone elses site.

OK, let's take this slowly, just so I understand. You're in the web page editor and click the HTML button. Correct?
That opens a small window which says HTML Source Editor. This window doesn't have any icons because you're now editing the HTML code representing your page. Is that what you mean by 'no icons'? The icons for things like making text bold and inserting a link are only available in the web page editor.

by icons i mean links to other sites that move and flash etc i have the HTML for them and when i put them on my site it just stays as HTML so i need to know how to add these
i do have a links page but it wants to know everything the url etc but i there a quicker way of adding them to a different page
im a total nooobie at this so please go slow with me
