Car Hire in US

hi I guess there may already be a thread on this, I am looknig for car hire in the US (JFK pickup and drop off). Seems like such a minefield.
Can I anyone tell me the cheapest, I have done lots of comparison searches I am a female and my co driver is female 30+. Hiring for 11 days. can anyonee help please? We arrive 19:00 hours ish.

    i found autoeurope car hire the cheapest , i get the gold cover up to 3 drivers fully comp and a tank full of gas , take it back empty , they seen to be the cheapest and email your voucher to you or send it . never had any problems with them or the car ,just hand over voucher and get going , will use them again

    never driven in new york area but in other states it easy , any problems with the directions we just pull in to petro station and get advice ,
  • We have used carhire3000 a few times, admittedly not in New York, and found them to be the cheapest and best.
  • DO NOT USE ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR!!!!

    We use dollar and have not had any problems with them.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

    + however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

    found them helpful when i booked
    NOT helpful when the rental company they booked me with messed up the car
    will never use again! plus the autoeurope person i was speaking to put the phone down on me! phoned her back, no customer services!!!
