Electric Shower Triton Jade II - Water Pressure dropped - HELP!!

Hello, please can anybody help me?
I put a new hose on my Triton Jade II and within seconds of turning it on water started spurting out from inside the electric shower unit.
Not knowing what to do I went into a forum and discovered this to be quite a common problem and apparently I needed to replace the PRD. I placed my order for the relevant part with Showerdoc and I received it the very next day (Im very impressed!)
However, now the PRD has been fitted and the water is no longer spurting out everywhere the water pressure has dropped considerably.
The low pressure light is now permanently on as well.
Any ideas what I may have done wrong or suggestions as to what I can do to sort the problem?
Any advise will be gratefully received.
Thanks

Hi, many thabks for your response.
It was the hose and head that was replaced. The thing is, there is actually a 'low pressure' light on the shower unit box and that is now permanently on even with the shower not running. THis makes me think it must be the shower not he hose?0
