Try for a Community Care Grant first, as you dont have to pay it back. What have you got to loose ! They usually give you a decision within 1 - 2 weeks.

hi guys hope u can give me advice ,,as stated above I got comminity care grant for a mattress,which was very much appreciated
it wasnt untill we took mattress off tht we noticed that base is broken,, could i apply for a community care grant for this telling them what has happened or am I to late

Hi Colin yes you can apply again as its not for the same thing. It does not mean they will give you the grant but same as before tell them your unable to pay back a loan if they offer. Failing that join freecycle and request a bed frame.
