Latest News: Court of Appeal judgement expected Thurs 26 Feb

Obviously there will be more news as when and we hear the result but this is just a heads up to those of you closly following the test case to keep your peepers peeled next Thursday.

  • This is quite freaky same day and time for my next court hearing!
  • Will this test case affect people who have just basic Debit Cards like mine? (Im with Natwest, and they charge £32 for an unauthorised debit. I dont have an over draft.)

    I think you either mean £35 guaranteed car payment or £28 maintenance charge.

    As an aside, RBS Group will announce what is expected to be the biggest corporate loss in history. Not sure this news item will take the front page from that.

  • Not sure which, to be honest. It was just a DD that went out and came back as unpaid because I didnt have the funds. Never really understood how they can charge you for something that never really left your account. Its not like they lose money because the DD money wasnt there. I could understand if it was eating into an overdraft, but it wasnt.

    If it was £38 the charge.
