Wheres hot in March?

Looking to go away somwhere for a week, anytime from the 04th March onwards to recharge our batteries.

All we do on holiday is sunbathe, eat and drink, as we like to be lazy, so somwhere warm - the warmer the better.

Can anyone tell me where would be the hottest place to go in March - ideal temp would be around about 26 - 30 degrees.

Budget would be £200 per person, but if we could get an AI deal in the for around about £400 each we would consider that too.

Hope someone can help x

  • Wow thank you so much - you are incredibly fast!

I'll have a look at the website - not so sure I can convince the OH to go to Egypt, he seems to think it's not safe! Will have a look and see what I can find.

  • Sorry to bother you - have just been looking at the Three Corners Ocean View, which you've said is in Hurghada. I've ooked at the website you direct me to, the holiday truths one and the Three Corners Ocean View is in El Gouna. There is no Three Corners Ocean View in Hurghada, although there is a Three Corners Empire and Holiday Village!

Can you confirm whether the hotel you refer to is the one in El Gouna or one of the ones that is in Hurghada? Thanks very much - I love the look of the one in El Gouna, assuming we have been looking at the same hotel!

  • It's Ok, I've answered my own question - it's in El Gouna!

    Thanks

Your very limited to where you can go then as you dont want turkey tunisia or morrocco but want somewhere with hot temps 26 - 30 degrees. There is always the Canaries but its still not gonna be as warm as you want it.

  • Well I think it looks truly amazing and I will use all of my feminine powers to persuade him otherwise! I will need to wait for him to come in from football, and work my charm on him!

We've been looking at the Canaries and to be honest for the price we have been finding for there, I'd rather pay a tiny bit extra for an All Inclusive deal.

Thanks very much for your help sloppychops - you've been most helpful.

I have had the same problem with somewhere nice and warm for early March.
We too looked at the canaries and for what you get on the red sea its much better value.
I am now working on my other half to do a twincentre and he was going for it until he realeased you had to go back to Luxor to fly home which adds 4-5 hours onthe journey home.
I wanted 1 week at the Le Meridien or St George followed by 1 week in the Sheraton Miramar.
We picked El Gouna because you dont get hassled like you do in places like Sharm so it makes it much more relaxing.
Sloopy, TM or anyone..have you come across anyone that does a twin centre but flys into Luxor but home out of Hurghada?
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
