HSBC Business account overdraft charges

Hi all
I have a HSBC Business bank account (shared with friends) to handle bills for the student property that we're renting this year. I have just received a phone call informing me that the account has been in unauthorised overdraft for 17days with a charge being applied at £8 every day i.e. total = £136.
I've previously fallen into this situation when I spoke with an advisor who told me that although the overdraft is unauthorised that since it is not an enormous amount and it is paid off quickly (it was a shorter period of time last time) that no charges would be incurred. I was still charged but I complained at the branch and hadn't heard back assuming it was cleared.
On this occasion, I am told we were sent a statement shortly after first going into the overdraft but this either didn't reach us or has been misplaced (student house). In any case it was never made clear that the account was in overdraft and that subsequent charges would be so steep. Had I known I would've cleared it sooner as I have now done.
The advisor on the phone confirmed that I could dispute the charges at my branch if I felt necessary and then I started trawling MSE - Reclaim section. Do these charges fall under the same unfair charges that are being reclaimed? In my case I haven't yet been charged. Can I dispute it now? Should I use the same sample templates? How should I proceed?
