    What advice was that

Why do you ask? You going to add a humourous comment to diffuse that thread too?

Here is the thread, the post is #2, which some might say has a patronising air to it as well as the aroma of bs.

Ok, so just new to this forum and a little scared of posting a comment after the above posts BUT here goes. After the 'chav free holiday' stunt am I the only one who thinks this is a little too similarnad convenient? They have got loads of exposure with this and links back to their site - what is it they say? No publicity is bad publicity.

    Did find it amusing though...

No I asked as I thought you were refering to advice I have given.

Lets all chillax and get on with helping MSE members rather than sniping at each other

Don't be afraid to post POLR, we don't bite, sometimes us Insurance Professionals have disagreements which each other on the advice we have given. It adds some spice to a discussion sometimes. We normally don't snap at normal posters although there are the odd person who will snap at joe public and then the majority will normally ask them to be more polite

As the Forum warns you the people on here are posting their opinions and we are not always right so any advice you take from here it is always best to check it. Although we are all pretty clued up on here so we can normally help in some way

Have a good look round MSE its a wonderful place

Thanks dacouch, although I'm not having a good start so far! Think I may go back to just observing :-)

polr your posts on MSE are as important as anyone elses on here, it often helps balance the discussions on the Insurance Forum if a member of public points out their opinion as we obviously speak from an Insurance point of view and can have rose tinted glasses
  • So, could the claim form be an AIG plant? I don't personally think so, but interesting possibility...

We should have a thread with links to the websites with the funny claim forms the type Jasper Carrot used to talk about (I have just shown my age...)

@LadyIndecisive : I'm probably just being cynical (I can't help it!) ;-) Just thought it was quite similar to the chav free holiday one. Mind you, even if it was it's worked so good on 'em :-)
