Would appreciate thoughts and perhaps alternatives to guaranteed growth bond. Lloyds suggesting this to us however as this would be placed in IOM banks this is also of concern.
Thanks
Thanks

Do watch the small print as well, normally the g'tee is linked to stock market over a period of time, if the time period does not coincide with growth then they have had your money interest free for say five yearsNumerus non sum0

Thank you for (a) Farway will have a look when I have the literature.
(b) Gozomark - unfortunately as of yet I do not have any details as they was an initial appointment when GGBs where mentioned.
I do know I read yesterday about them regarding Barclays and what I did read didnt sound attractive but thought would ask the knowledgeable people on this site their thoughts and possibily if they had any and if so, had people encounted problems especially if deposits would be placed in an Isle of Man bank. redouma:confused:0 -
If its the same one as someone posted a few days ago then the terms were rubbish. Also, the use of an offshore wrapper could create tax issues for certain groups of people.
Bank GEBS are nearly always expensive and the terms not very good (by expensive I mean in implicit fees - which you cannot see directly).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
