Spare coat/trouser hangers

I've got loads of spare coathangers and hangers for trousers.

Is there anyone who will be pleased to accept them?

You could ask your local charity shops, however they tend to have 'standard' ones these days.

If you know of any groups who regularly run jumble sales, or anyone who sells clothes at car boot sales, they may be able to make use of them?

If they're wire, schools and groups might be able to use them for activities.

Thanks for that. I'll try the local charity shops before I bin them.
There's quite alot of the plastic ones you get from shops when you buy clothes (trousers and normal hangers).

Put it on freecycle. Or you could contact your local emergency housing list and see if they can use them. Not having to fork out on hangers can really make a difference, all these little pounds and pennies make a difference.
