Washing Machine. How to install??

I have just purchased a new Bosch washing machine. Due to the distance from the plumbing I purchased an extra long filling pipe and wate pipe. I have conected the waste pipe to the one on the back of the machine with the relavant connector and the to the relavant fiiting under the sink. There is a fair bit of slack about one metre. I have also attached the filling hose, one pipe no connections. When turning the machine on it fills fine but fails to drain. I had to bail water out! On inspection of the waste tube there was some water in it. Was the drain pipe to long/ coiled to work. should I cut it down or will the machine not work with a long pipe? thanks

Does the machine drain with the origional waste hose only (put it in a bucket) you need to eliminate its not a machine fault first then work from there,Many a time i have purchased fauly items!!

you need to make sure the pipe rises above the exit point, first. close to the machine.

Connect the water - connect the waste - done

probably teaching u how to suck eggs here, but check the spigot (where the waste pipe connects to the u bend under sink) isnt blocked. Did u have a machine plumbed in the same place before? if not, then this connection will be blanked off to prevent water pouring out from the sink.
