I won, received and finished the Penny Vincenzi book "No Angel". I just wanted to recommend it to anyone who likes a good period drama/ love story and I've just taken the 2nd in the series out from the library. Thanks again for the comp.

Won my first book finally!! Thanks OP!!

I like the look of some of these, will have to scour the T+C to see if I can enter again for some of these!!
Comping since 08 - Back again for 2020!
  • Site working. Just won on first attempt, and on an emailed code, which surprised me. I know they always say that the sent code has the same probability of winning but I never really thought I'd win this way!

Anyone else noticed that they now ask for your email, full name and postcode when asking for a "free" code?
Didn't it used to be just your email address?
    Hmmmm....

I noticed that too - I wondered if more people are winning through NPN than what they anticipated:rotfl:

It's a strange comp - if they are giving away 1 million books I should have won more by now

Considering someone calculated they would be giving away 5000 books a day, we should have won several each! I've won one, and there is only 1 other I fancy so am not too bothered.

Think having to give postcode is going to limits wins even more somehow.
If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.
  • I noticed this but looks like the rules still say one free code a day per Email addy so they may just be trying to discourage multiples from someone with more than one Email. I am not too worried as I have already received 6 with hopefully 1 more on its way as I entered for my OH and kids as well and myself. The 3 remaining ones don't interest me anyway. Seems to me that promoters may spot when compers are talking about their comps on forums and that way spot ways people are getting round the system and then change it accordingly.
Maybe we should keep these things under our hat a bit more.
  • Okay peeps! :D
I've yet to win on this despite entering loads of times daily.
Is there a better time of day to try for a win (similar to the Cadbury one?).
    Thanks. :)

Don't know if it helps but last Sunday afternoon I won 3 within half an hour.
