4% saving interest?

It's hard to find a no strings savings account at the moment at anything like 3.5%. Even to get this sort of rate, you may need to invest thousands, or sacrifice interest if you make a withdrawal, and the rate will probably be introductory for a year only. However an Egg Money credit card account pays 4% gross pa AER for positive balances. So what's to prevent me adding a five figure sum to my Egg Money account to get 4% interest. Or would the saving not be protected? Is there a catch or pitfall?
