Hi
In new to all these threads so hope i'm doing this right!!
I was woundering if anyone could help me.
My Husband has just left me and my 9 month old baby, out the blue!! no reason just said it not what he thought married life was like and will not talk about it any further than other to say there's no point in talking.
Up until i got married I was always independant, the house we live/lived in was mine and I payed for everything, When we married I stupidly payed off his debts with the equity in the house and we joined the mortgage!!
I now feel so insecure, i just feel he can sell the house from under us or take out further debts agaisnt the house. My work life is limited until my daughter is older so I can't earn anything like enough to buy him out.
I was wondering though, is there any companies that might buy out his half of the mortgage, like on a 50/50 ownership. The house was orignally a shared ownership house and I have contacted the conmpany who did that but they said because I wasn't the one who had the 50/50 agreement and I bourght it out right from the previous owner they will not help me. Do all companies take the same view or will someone do it?
I hope that makes sense and thanks for any help you can offer

Sell it on the open market. But if you have a mortgage with the original company there maybe problems getting them to agree.0

Eh? First things first! Sounds like OP and husband are still married and still joint owners. Neither can sell without the other's consent. There are loads of things to consider before it gets to this point, most urgent of which is how will mortgage payments continue in the short term.
Seriously, get some professional advice from Citizens Advice Bureau and/or Marriage Guidance before doing anything.0
