I can recomend the Oceanarium in Weymouth - I have been several times and prefer it to the Bournemouth one becasue there is quite alot of outdoor space at the weymouth one, they have an outdoor paddling pool (no good in this weather of course but still nice), they have a new area with theme park rides for kids and is included in the entrance price. they also have an interactive crab area, where you can hold the crabs at certain times in the day and penguine feeding plus a seahorse breading programme which is very interesting.
If the weather is bad then the indoor viewing galleries make welcome shelter and does the restaurant and gift shop.

All in all its fab value for money and certainly enough to do to keep you amused for hours.

Its going to cost you £32 for one adult and 2 children but if you go to the tourist information centre first you will probably be able to pick up a discount voucher or tow. they usually print discount vouchers for the sealife centre in the weymough tourist info booklets. Might be worth ringing the TIc to ask if they have any discount offers?

Dont know if you have transport or if you are looking to do something in Weymouth but if you have the car why not take a trip along to Lulworth cove, its lovely down there, you have the cove and the beach to explore or walk along the coastal path to Durdle dor. Its cheap if you are on a budget as you'll only pay for the car park.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • you can go to brewers quay. they have lots down there to look at/ do.
you can take the kids to sharkeys.. its an indoor play centre i think its about £4 per child, but they spend ages in there.
you can go to the sea life centre as the other poster said.
    the nothe fort ,
walk along the beach... its very long!
hop on a bus in town to portland bill and visit the lighthouse

that should keep you busy enough!!
