There is a guy on here that call`s them the gistapo that's my good friend, MrGG..gestapo...but perhaps gitstapo would be more appropriate!... and that they are... although, i have just had a phone call today from my case worker to tell me they are re calcuating the arrears, baffled me with !!!!!!!! and said the debt was going to be reduced??? what the??? gonna wait for the letter when it`s been re calculated and will update the thread as to what has happened... if anyone; ie kelloggs, knows whats happened, feel free to comment
They have probably reduced the arrears because they were WRONG in the first place. The CSA...sorry....Gestapo...are renowned for incorrect assessments.
Let's see what the paperwork brings.
I would be asking for a complete account breakdown from day one.0 -
I have had some right battles with them. When i have asked to see my husbands paperwork under the dpa they have all of a sudden... (off their own back may i add..). contacted me to say that the debt it wrong and it has gone to a special team to re calculate... they threw some big words at me and lots of dates and acts, and when i asked for him to repeat it in laymans terms, i got the same bumf from him... so i just thought i would ask for a breakdown in writing and hopefully work it out for myself... for all of you not offay with this case, the ex is stating my husband never paid maintenance when he did, he just has no proof and she knows this. Basically she is evil personified.0

Would you be comlaining if you had a nil assessment through CS1 and then had been transferred to CS2 where you pay 15, 20 or 25% of your wages regardless? NO, I didn't think so. The point is, that whatever system you are on, cannot suit everybody. Many, many NRPs would have found that their payments under CS1 of nil would have shot up to 15, 20 or 25% of their incomes. Under CS1 they take account of your housing costs if you have any, which reduces the amount they ask you to pay - in my view it is actually fairer, as you are guaranteed to have enough to pay your mortgage plus an amount to live on - not great amounts, granted, but under CS2 there is no such consideration it is a flat rate.0
