RBS Charges Query

When i first found this website, i planned on reclaiming some of my charges from RBS, but they told me they don't do that at RBS unless it was a mistake on their part, so i decided against making a claim.
Recently however, i had a problem where i was charged £38 by my bank account for a bill that was to be taken out, however i'd already paid said bill by other means, but did not cancel the direct debit, so RBS told me to speak to Orange (who were the company the bill was being paid too) i spoke with them, and Orange said they would reimburse my Orange account, so that my next bill will be £X - the £38 they owe me. However, when i get a £38 charge from RBS, next time they charge me interest, they also stick another £28 charge on my account.
Am i able to reclaim any of these charges at all? This is not the first time i've had the £28 charge either, which means basically they charge me £38 and £28 for going over my overdraft.
Any help would be great. Thank you.
