Agree with you lostinrates. Having been an extravagant consumer of coffee in areas of high rent and engineered scarcity in particular - namely coffee stands at train stations.0

Exactly!:T
I usually tell my OH to at least take fruit for the journey, but I don't buy fresh bread every day (only 2 of us, bread lasts week) and he preferes fresh bread if he does want a sandwich...And especially in the summer, sandwich that was on a car seat all day is not very nice, let's face it...
So I have pre-packed lunches, he doesn't. Convinience.
LOL, there are loads of MSE lunches that would work when left in a car all day though. But yes, its working out what really is sensible for the particular circumstances.:)

LOL, you would have to meet my husband... And see his car!:rotfl:
I wouldn't drive that mess if they paid me for it...:eek:0 -
I’m surprised no-where sells peanut butter and jelly (jam) sandwiches, there one of the most popular snacks in America maybe it would kick start people over hear to try it0

I love peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches but I certainly wouldn't pay whatever M & S would charge for one! As other posts have pinted out M & S type food has it's time and place but far too many people have become used to eating like that all time at a considerable cost. They all need to get themselves over the Oldstyle board and learn to cook and shop more cost effectively.0

TBF they are not hard to make, as you say millions of Americans make them every day, and the same principle of the jam sandwhich applies.
You can buy goobers here, (sometimes I really crave a PBJ sandwich and I struggle to easily find good grape jelly in my rural area) and so even only need to dip the knife in a jar once...it couldn't be easier or quicker.0 -

and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team

Don't forget though
This isn't any ordinary strawberry jam. it's double fruit, extra strawberry, naturally sweet M&S strawberry jam.......................(can't quite convey the nauseating, psuedo seductive voice, some how)0 -
Buy an M and S jam sandwich and it is a good deal.:)
Go to a friends house and get offered a free jam sandwich.:(0
