    Lenny

I think there might be something in that..my DD was born August and she never slept through the night until she was 11 months old..no wonder I have bags and wrinkles like an old lady! She does however sleep quite well now and 3.5, but up until last clock change it always used to take weeks to get her used to light/dark in evenings and mornings

Lol, right here's my question. Here's my theory. Spring/Summer babies dont sleep through the night as well as Autumn Winter babies because its lighter. Does anyone agree with that or has had experience with it?
KK was born in January (winter obviously) and Ash was born in March (spring obviously).
Ash slept through (11-7) from 4 weeks.
KK didn't sleep through til she was gone 1.

We tried one with KK and it still didn't work. lol! Never had one with Ash. I'm of the mind that it's better to get them used to sleeping with natural light, whatever that may be. That way there'll be less chance of them having problems sleeping when they're older and don't have it. If that makes sense.

  • morning all!!! Lenny nicked my joke, i was going to say "did all you early risers pee the bed or something"!!??

re spring babies sleeping less, not in my experience lenster, erin was a february baby and she slept well from very early on.. Black out blinds are a wonderful thing!!

Jinky - re the being available when someone says they are coming, it's a toughie i suppose, depends on the kind of prior engagements the other person had.... I suppose one can't be expected to drop everything at short notice...

Sally - i've never made a curry from scratch... i'm printing that recipe out!!

Bunny i haven't done any 30 day shred... but have looked at it... would that work?

  • Jinky - i realise now that you aren't dropping everything (ooer missus!) for Daz and this is the problem... you do have 2 kids and a job, and a dog so can hardly expect you to be constantly available! i think, for what it's worth, you are burning the candle at both ends keeping this lifestyle going and you'll end up unwell if you're not careful....

i think it's great that he's coming oop north though to see you for once....! Sounds great...

and part of being in a relationship is being comfortable around each other to live normal life together, so if he has to stay in and watch loose women while you deal with your own stuff, then that's real life.... it can't be crotchless knickers and whips all the time hun!!!
