If it was the Queen and Country, we wouldn't be stuck all over the world dropping bombs on people who pose us no threat.

But it's not - it's politicians and Dubya poodles. There's an election due in a couple of years, and the incumbent government isn't popular. Who should we bomb next?

True true, tis a sheeite state of affairs, that The Royal Navy who's remit it was to be as twice as big as the next biggest Navy (and it was) was its line until about 1950; not that long ago. We don't have enough ships/submarines and too many commitements plus we have the greater difficulty of retaining the family, not the man anymore. But we will prevail

Sorry Daz! i really didn't mean anything by it. but i'm sure i'm not the only one who hears Claire say that she was up til 3am "sorting things out" and we've seen her very happy and very low in the time you've been together.... just expressing my concern, you may not know me, and i certainly don't know you... but i do know and care about jinky and make no apologies for giving a shiit about her....

i wish you both nothing but happiness mate, but my concern for her welfare is not something i apologise for....

sorry - just had to butt in - I don't think it was intended as a profound judgement - more a friend looking out for a friend......
