Can aunt claim from estate?

The house your FIL lived in was it his parents house? If so is this maybe why your Aunt thinks she should inherit it
One of my friends father died and she inherited his house, which had previously belonged to his parents. As an unmarried son the parents had left the house to him but it had been stated (unoffically) that if he were to sell or marry he should split the value of the house with his sister (who was married). He did marry but quite late in life (my friend was the product of an earlier relationship where he hadn't married) but didn't sell up and his sister didn't push it. When he died however she was incensed that he had willed the house to his DD, his widow was also incensed that she was homeless as he hadn't left her the house.
Anyway in the end friend gave Aunt 1/2 the value of the house from other money he had left her and his widow is still living in the house rent free till she dies (she's in her 80s).
If I remember rightly her solicitor advised legally she didn't have to give Aunt any money but she knew what her grandparents had wished as it was no secret and felt it wrong to ignore their wishes. I have a feeling that she couldn't make his widow homeless which is why she is still there.

There isn't a house just a business and car etc.., the lady he was living with has made it clear she's not going to make a claim, the house belonged to her anyway.
My fil saw the aunt 1-2 times a month.0
