Campsites in the UK

Hi there,

Does anyone know of good websites to find campsites, particularly for tents, please? I seem to be struggling at the moment. Ideally we'd be visiting the Peak District, but we invariably want to camp around the country at various stages during the next year!

You could try the Camping and Caravanning Club for ideas and to join but i think it is more orientated towards caravans. There are loads of camping sites in the Peak District but they vary from a field on a farm with basic facilities to very good sites with lots to do. We have just stayed at one in Hope which was basic (£3.50 pppn) which had 1 shower for each sex, small cafe and the sink to wash/clean teeth was right next to the blokes urinals! oh and it was right next to the train line.
