Just popping in to say baby no name arrived two days ago on Friday afternoon at 3.28pm, 17 days overdue. He weighed 9lb 5oz and although I didn't end up with the home birth I had hoped for, for various reasons (bit of a story which I'll explain when I have a bit more time!), I managed to avoid induction as I went into labour myself that morning! :j:j:j

He was fine, if a bit wrinkly for being so cooked

I haven't had time to check but so curious to know if anyone else has popped!

Sorry if I confused anyone, around here, coming out through the sunroof is slang for having a section!

Haven't read back much but did see a convo about whether you need newborn or not, all I can say is that newborn is absolutely swamping Eloise at the moment I am considering getting some early baby size

I should do housework more often - seems to bring on birth announcements!

Nipped to the loo and thought I might as well clean the bathroom whilst I was in there. Flushed the loo again after I'd cleaned it and OH came racing to the door, banging on it, asking if I was okay. He thought I'd been dreadfully ill - not quite sure what kind of ill he was thinking as when he walked in I was wiping down the tiles two foot about the loo cistern!! :rolleyes: (I hadn't - I hasten to add!)

Just paused for a cuppa and a Mars bar then I'll carry on before I get too comfy.. tonnes more washing to do, then ironing to offload to Mum's (all in the name of medical recovery, you understand! ).
