 Hiya AF. I would ask if you've enjoyed your first week of maternity leave (I mean away from work), but I'm guessing not what with all the trips to the DAU! :( Fingers crossed for something happening for you soon :D

Don't think MFD will be too happy if you get there first tho! ;) That said, all seems quiet from MFD Towers tonight.. Hope you're having a nice evening, MFD, if it's not all kicked off yet :) xx

SB - it was a complete shock when the MW suggested a stretch and sweep. i didnt know whether to agree or not, but did in the end. she was lovely and explained everything. i said to her that i hoped she was on when i was having my baby. she even hugged me when i left. sooooo nice she was.

elle - apart from the trips to the DAU i have enjoyed my first week off. i never thought i would say that, but i have enjoyed being away from work. it is still on my mind a lot, but enjoying not having to go in.

AM - you do loads right love!!!!!!

I getcha ;) I know SB likes her 3d but I hated it and the seat so you might be better of without it anyway :D have you seen the graco travel system thats in the Tesco baby fair?
i think its this one http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-1580.aspx not sure what the in store price was but its deff cheaper than 3D, you'd just need to check if the seat fitted.
Can I ask in what way did the SX seat not fit? any chance you were being a bit blonde?

I really did LOVE mine! :D. I still think they are one of the best looking prams too :p. Poor thing hasn't really had an outing this time around as Phil & Ted rules!. All four of us went to the big retail park in Speke this afternoon and Jamie was snug as a bug in the cocoon! :T.

AM, I was going to ask Sami's Q as the carseat fitted in my Punto. Tbh, I didn't attach the carset to the pram that much as I preferred Poppy to lie flat and she looked so cute!

    xx

AF - sorry I seem to be ignoring you (not on purpose!!) I don't have anything good to say tho, did you get anywhere with names? I got annoyed with my OH not bothering as he's convinced its a boy and that first name is sorted (still arguing over middles) so I've just given him a choice of three and said he has to pick from those and if he doesn't like them then he get blooming well think of some for himself!!

Elle - MFD is at a party remember so probably pooped

AM we couldn't get the SX seat in my mums car coz of her short seatbelts too, she'd had extenders fitted now (by a proper mechanic and the ones she has are legal/safe, mechanic is a friend and he made sure they were :D) We used a britax one in her car which was fab and (2yrs ago now) was still available under the fisher price brand pretty cheap ;)
I'm not a fan of the graco tesco pram either, was worth a try tho..
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

No i can assure you i wasnt having a blonde moment, the seatbelt is about 5 inches to bloody short, I was in the car for abut 40 mins trying and willing it to magically stretch but no it wouldnt, but after looking on the net it seems it;s a common thing the the ventura seat, I phoned my friend to tell her and she has the same problem but her dad has fitted a n extender on her seatbelt, which I wont do as I dont trust that.
Ooh no that buggy is vile :o , i'd rather have the Graco mosaic one.

I heard it's a problem in Ford cars too. Unfortunately OH and I bother have Fords (Focus and Fiesta) and that's the car seat I'd have to go with the Freeway Linear.. Sooo need to track one down and try it out so I can get over that idea and search for another pram! :(
