    Another question for you ladies!

What should I do about my nails?

I've had gel nails done for the past year. My own nails are quite soft, and I tend to pick them, so they always look a state. With the gel coating, they look lovely all the time!

Think I'll be able to manage a appointment every 3-4 weeks with a newborn? No problems taking the baby with me, the guy who has done my nails had a baby in Feb, so isn't a stranger to babies!

I'll get them a bit shorter, but is it going to be a problem? I need to either get them filled now, or have them taken off, and I'm not sure what is best.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

feelie i shouldnt think they'd be a problem unless you have really long nails and if thats the case cut them to just above how short you want them then file ... alot easier :rotfl: x

No reason at all why you shouldn't carry on. I see the sense in a bit shorter but I certainly wouldn't give up treating yourself 'cos you have a baby. I have quite long nails anyway. You can be one of those yummy mummys! :D

Feelie, I've never had them, but I'd say if you've already got them, keep getting them. It'd help you feel like you (not that "just someone's mum" feeling I've heard talked about) and it'll be nice to have a treat and reason to get out the house every so often :)

Oh, we might have just decided on a name! :D Not going to say it yet.. We've say we'll not read any more names lists/books/websites for a week and see how we still feel about the name next weekend :)

Anyone else keep getting a bloody nose? Not full on nosebleeds, just little spots of blood every now and again when you blow.. I keep sneezing and thinking I'm going to get a cold but it never comes to much :(

I've got my PJs on already.. they're soo comfy! :D

Random thought on nails.. anyone ever seen the pics of the woman with the longest nails in the world? The ones that curl round like claws. She was in a car crash recently and broke them!! No longer the record holder.. ;)
