    Morning all!

Not often it takes until 7:25am before someone has posted on here in the mornings!!

A MASSIVE congrats to Weezl on her new arrival...I can't believe you were on here less than five hours after giving birth! I hope I have a labour and birth like that (extra marks for arriving on the right day :D). Looking forward to hearing more about it and seeing some piccies when you're up to it. xxx

    I wonder where MFD is?!?!

Sami - I love my adidas trainers. I only have one pair of trainers as I don't often wear them (am living in my uggs at the moment, they're so comfy!).

I think I've missed the posts about the Huggies basket from Sainsburys. Could someone let me know what it's about pretty please?

Right, need to get on and get moving before I'm late for work. Am out tonight and tomorrow night, so might not get the chance to catch up until Sunday (by which time there will probably be at least 45 pages to read :D)

    Have a good day all!

well, funny you should say that Mel, erm, sorry haven't read any posts today, just happened to open the thread at this page, to let you all know that having had a couple of nigglies yesterday, from 11 am which I discounted as the real thing as the MW at my appt said I was still 3/5ths engaged. But they were sore and quite regular, so we carried on timing them.

By 5 am they were between 5-8 mins apart each time and I was not a happy weezl, so I phoned the MLU to request a home check (and eager to beg someone to bring round the entonox!)

First mw came at 6am, no gas and air and found me to be a disappointing 2cm. I was hoping, like MFD posted to be one of those stories you read about where you get examined and you're practically ready to push! She did however say she'd come back in 45 mins with gas and air and see where we were. So I soldiered on for a bit.

Blissful gas and air came duly, and was great, as was the tens in my experience.

We progressed fairly well for a first-time birth, and I think I hit transition to pushing stage at about 2.30 ish?

A very lovely Master Weezl made his way out at 3.37pm. No ters to my lady parts (so maybe the ole p massage is worth it?), but I am perched here fairly gingerly as I type!

He seems very sweet, and I look forward to getting to know him! He was 7lb 5 and has hair and v long fingernails.

Quite exhausted now, but would love to tell more story and read your news soon if I may still be kinda in the club.

    Love to you all,

    Weezl x
    Aww congratulations! :j

I think I've been a sz 5 since about 12/13 so not too bad for your lil girly:D
I only wear adidas trainers as in proper trainers (I have skate trainers too like vans n DCs) I love adidas trainers, never had a bad pair and I love that sz5 is classed as kids so they are like £15 cheaper in the shops!
I'm not fussed about the stripes TBH although I think white ones would look good in those
I bought my first pair of Addidas trainers the other week, they are so comfy, I mainly bought them because they have velcro straps and it's easier to put them on in pregnancy, but they are so lush, just pure white, and DS has the same pair, cost me £15 for both pairs.

Morning everyone, congrats to the fews birthers:j so pleased for you all.

I got appointment with midwive this morning, just the 15wk check, shes gonna ask m about the screening for abnormalities and would i like it, well i declined it with my first and i spoke to hubby and we're gonna decline again, after all, we couldnt terminate.so not pleased with the widwive services at the mo, i mentioned on monday that i itch like mad, so i rang the community midwive office and no one answered, so i rang reception, who told me that they are in the office, i appreciate they may have been busy, but why leave the phone to ring, i asked for advice, with quiet an abrupt answer, i cant advise you anything other than to ring the GP, rang the GP and couldnt get a blood test till monday, but likely the itching has subsided now so ill leave it there.got my list of questions to ask , want to get my leave sorted at work, oh one of the other preg girls at work had a bleed which made me feel sick, almost gulity!! turns out she and bubs are ok.
Felt bubs move yesterday, i had a hard long lump at the front of my belly(was it the bubs back) then what felt like butterflies, i asume it turned cus the hard lump had moved, woke up this morning there again, got up for a wee, gone, reasurring to know its moving about.
Just had breakfast...crosiants.. my fave, in the oven with jam and lots of extra butter!!best go get dressed, will drop back later if theres any update
