just back from morrison and used the sling thing so thought id let you know it is great tiamai! everyone stopped me to comment how nice it was and how comfy she looked in it! she also make quite a few pounds on the way around! need to keep this up might pay my shopping bill hehe! but honestly it gets the thumbs up as i dont have a sore back etc and was easy to get on and off!
am off to eat my reduced trifles and cakes then get ready for tom, at last Erin is going to be registered! What's for you won't go past you0 -

There are two suites, one is for ladies like me, and the other one is for ladies who have lost a fullterm baby, as they tend to stay in longer and they want to put them somewhere quieter. If I get offered that room, should I refuse it? I feel like it'd be 'wrong' of me to have my (hopefully) healthy baby in the room they use for all the poor ladies who've lost babies?
Hi Feelie,
I know we haven't chatted much, but I've been reading everyone's posts including yours - I've only managed to completely catch up today which is why I haven't posted for such a long time.
I agree with the other posts, I think you should take the room. I can totally see where you're coming from and it's very thoughtful of you but they wouldn't have said you could have it if you weren't entitled to it.

Hello
I work in Wigan and will be 12 weeks on 11 March so we are very close in edd and location!!!!
Shoul;dn't you book in earlier than that?!! I booked in at 9 weeks and have scan on 12th March :jA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
 Hello!
I had my scan today - it was agony  It took about an hour and the pains in my legs from where the babies are laid meant I had to keep getting up and at one point I was really dizzy and thought I was going to be sickI was really anxious as well which didn't help
Anyhoo, they were wriggling at the wrong moments and refused to move when needed so they only managed to get 1 flavour - we don't know what (but I reckon boy as she saw it when she was checking she was measuring the right babyshe wasn't sexing at that point) As well as wriggling, they seemed to be whacking the membrane which separated them and one kicking at the others head. The main thing is they both appear healthy etc. :T:T
The sonographer is a really nice woman :T
So, basically I have to go for a rescan on Friday 13th for the rest of the pictures (nose, mouth etc) and hopefully the other one won't have it's legs so close together0 -
Quick update - Been to docs (was sick in the waiting room ha ha ha) and she has booked me in for a raft of blood tests on Thursday and told me to stay on rest for the rest of the week. She even said to me 'you don't look well' - no s**t that's why I am here! Ha ha.0

Right, off to see my parents - and use their hot water supply for a nice bath!
Was going to go to the chippie but as OH has slept so long I think it'll be shut now so it'll just have to be Maccys!
TTFN all xx0 -
Glam, its mostly fine (so long as the place looks clean etc). I know that we buy in cooked chicken that is frozen and then defrosted and a suace mixed in so it's as safe as anything else you are eating. Plus most mayo (if it was the tikka/mayo mix) used in sammiches is pasturised anyway (so it lasts).
Caz, oohhhh great stuff! I am deff getting one now!
Whoever was asking about telling folk. It's whenever you feel comfortable. With my first 2 it was as soon as I found out, with this one it was 10 weeks when we got our second opinion and we were keeping our baby
Catz, oh poor you! I hate scans, they tell you to drink, so you do and then they run an hour late so your baldder wants to burst and then they press down on it! Hope the second goes better.0
