Parking at Dover

Hello all,
popping over to France on daytrip on Friday, can anyone advise where to park at Dover?
The last time we went was a couple of years ago and went by seacat (who dont run there anymore) and parking was in their carpark. (easy)
This time we are going by Seafrance, do they have their own car park (like the seacat did) or do we have to park further away? (dont really want to be too far away as the children will be really tired when we get back)
Thanks if anyone can help

There is a massive carpark at the actuall ferry terminal. I think for a whole day the cost is around £10 max I believe. Enough space for 100's of cars and you just take the lift down right into the ferry terminal. So very easy and no walking whatsover..

Charges:
- Up to 2 hours : £2.50
- 2 to 6 hours : £6.50
- 6 to 12 hours : £8.50
- 12 to 24 hours : £12.00
- Thereafter, per day : £6.00.
Please be careful reference Seafrance, they are being hit hard by the current climate and are currently in the process of withdrawing all bar three of their ships (3 being withdrawn) and reducing the workforce accordingly.0 -
Or you could park for free and do a short 15 minute walk to the port. Try Harold St, Taswell St, Leyburne Rd, you have to arrive before 8.30am to get a place on a week day. Use any mapping tool to find their location.0

What would happen if we got to France and they then withdrew the service home?My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
They would put you on the next available ferry with space. The man without a signature.0

Seafrance are withdrawing all except the passenger ships so you should have no problems. However the French unions are not totally happy with the situation, albeit they are understanding of the situation, so there could potentially be strikes and port blockades in Calais. Nothing has been released yet, the unions are remaining very quiet. Just a heads up.
I would personally recommend P&O for Calais (avoid the Pride of Burgundy its not as spacious as the other ships)0 -
Thanks for the heads up guys, much appreciated.
Will book with P&O instead.
I take it the parking is still the same car park? LOLMy beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
Hardly surprising about Seafrance, they where on strike quite a bit last year!
