I can't seem to find any of these secret tickets. They tell me the itinerary every time I search....0

I had a play using a flight that I had already booked onn a 10 night trip to Hurghada next week knowing that the outcome could only be one airline .
Lastminuite.com came up with a cost of £320 on a "no frills" airline ,stating that meals and luggage would be extra .
I then checked Easyjets site and the same flight was £300 so £20 cheaper .0 -
Well I've tried about 20 searches now, and I can't work out how to find these 'secret' fares. It tells me the airline every time.0

just done a quick search for MAN - NYC, and the cheapest is £269 for what is obviously a direct flight, as the times match the delta flights.. Not bad really, but i paid £288 for the same flight about a month ago, so it's not a HUGE saving.

It only works on scheduled flights - not charter or 'no frills' flights.
The Easyjet flights are always going to be dearer if booked through a travel agent as Easyjet don't pay commission to agents so the only way for an agent to make money on the sale is to mark the cost up. Why would anyone pay more for the same flight? Because if you are combining it with a hotel then you automatically have ATOL protection which you wouldn't have if you booked your flight directly with Easyjet and the hotel with anyone else. Most people would consider the peace of mind worth paying for.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. Atol numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0 -
I've clicked on the link in the article, which works, but once I click the 'search' button, it tells me the airline(s) - am I doing something wrong here?

No, the secret one may just not have been available. Always double check any price with https://www.skyscanner.net and airlines' websites.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
