Apparantly the FSA took the same view as I did and told them they were wrong and couldn't just increase the premiums like that.

Not quite. A number of the newer internet companies didnt have the correct T&C which made it clear there could be increases. So, the providers and the FSA agreed a course of action that effectively deferred the increase and refunded a period back as well as putting in place guidelines for increases going forward. This included the companies with the correct T&C and not just those without.

I could have guaranteed you would have to correct me despite what I said being perfectly true. :rotfl:

I know I am dragging this thread up from the dead really but.....

My insurers sent me a letter a few months back telling me I would be getting all the increase in premiums back from when they did it to January 2010. Total of around £100. Apparantly the FSA took the same view as I did and told them they were wrong and couldn't just increase the premiums like that.

Nice little bonus, no thanks to the bizzare attitudes of the likes of Wutang.

Whats my bizzarre attitude spunky? That people on this site want everything reduced, cheaper, compensated for, reclaimed, etc etc?

Spunky? Did you really just type that? :rotfl:

I think the thread and your replies to it are evidence enough of your attitude so no need to go over it further.
