Try letting us know who you're referring to?
For me not said I've made vast fortunes, said I doubled investment on Barclays £1k became £2k, rest is in the hands of the share market for now....
I'm not sure how it's boasting? When someone says they've lost £2k does that mean they're boasting? I didn't have £2k to invest nevermind lose :rolleyes:0 -

Sorry, I don't like to be smug, but there are some real fools around...0 -

Lloyds shares down 15% today so far. How much did you make today? Another £3K? No, that's right, you only buy your fantasy shares on days when the share price goes up You prize c0ck
No, I sold them last night (as I knew results were coming out today), hence the profit, and then aiming to buy more today when they hit about 55p, hopefully. You don't normally make money when shares go down, that's where you're going wrong. That said, my cfd short on Glaxo has turned out nicely. Look it up if you don't understand.

Doing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes0 -

Well now you're just making stuff up. If you were "considering" selling them at 7:33 last night, when the market had already been closed for several hours, you couldn't have sold them yesterday. The best you could have done would have been to put on a matching short.Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0 -

Well they're back at around what I paid thanks in a large part, I suspect, to people taking profits. I still expect them to rise later today when more solid news comes out.
There's a lot of bitter people in here, and quite possibly some bull$hitters too, but I at least genuinely hold the shares and am genuinely effected when they go up and down!0 -

You guys really, really don't know much about financial systems do you? :rotfl:
Would a screen dump of my stocks and shares ISA help matters? No, no it wouldn't would it, as it'd no doubt be photoshoped :rotfl:Doing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes0 -

My banks shares fell today, but other shares rose, swings and roundabout eh lol. Am £40 out of pocket at the moment  . Think I can live with that. Lets see what next week brings. Hopefully the abusive posters will be banned, if they don't believe what is posted on here why bother coming on here? Seems awful strange that they hurl abuse at people just because they don't believe them? I meet people all the time who over estimate themselves and what they have, I don't feel the need to call them names? Isn't really on but nevermind must float their boat...0
