    Hi welcome.
    This has been covered lots of times if you look through the threads in the Gas and electricity forum you will find scores of posts on this subject.

    BG dominates the market; some love them others hate them. I am in the former category.

    I think you will find that nobody has found a cheaper alternative that offers the same level of cover.

    Its been said many times but probably the best bet is to find a reliable honest plumber who will turn out when there is a problem. Few of us know of such a beast!

    However read all the posts lest I be accused of bias.
