In aug 04 i took out a egg loan ppi £1260 & egg card with ppi 79p per £100 checked out today..
pretty sure i took them out on line....have never claimed on policys...
I remember recieving paperwork and ringing to ask about ppi and was persuaded into it !
As Egg have already been fined do i use that as the reason to reclaim ppi or use a persuasive sales man as well ?
xxxx

Hi there
It seems you have a good reason to complain - so go for it.;)
Do you still have the paperwork for this?
If not write to them and ask for a copy of the agreement this will probably cost a £1 in postal order or cheque payment and should take 12 days of requesting this to arrive to you.
If you require further paperwork you will find a SAR letter template on the thread with details where they should comply within 40 days with all data/information they have on you.
There is a cost of £10 for this one, but it may be useful for your complaint if required.

i have all the paperwork ..
Brilliant, well that is one less battle out of the way then.;)
If you feel you were mis sold in any way, write to them to complain and reclaim your PPI.
I would try to write in your own words, but there is a template letter for this on the link below to help you through this.
They have 8 weeks to respond in full, post by recorded delivery.
If not successful the first time round you should be given the opportunity to write to them again, or until you receive your final response, in this final response you should receive a leaflet of the financial ombudsman service (FOS) if your not satisified with the outcome if this.
Keep us posted in order for us to continue to help if required, good luck.;)
