le creuset handles

Does anyone know where I could source replacement handles for le creuset saucepans. The existing ones are wood and have become badly scorched over years of use.
The local dealers sell replacements in a heat resistant plastic, but they are about 1cm longer than the existing (10cm) ones, so the central screw thread finishes inside the handle and can'd be secured.
Any ideas?

Although the wooden handles are discontinued, these guys indicate that they have a few still available.

Better still, go to B&Q and buy a set of wooden draw/cupboard handles. They will screw on the lid securely !!!0
